Andrei Zamfir is the Admissions Manager for White River Manor Group, overseeing admissions across all three facilities and supporting individuals and families as they navigate the process of accessing appropriate treatment.
Andrei graduated from medical school in Romania in 2008 and began his career working in the medical field. After three years in medicine, his career took him to Southeast Asia, where he became involved in volunteer work with local communities, focusing on empowering young people through education and promoting equality.
He later worked as a Project Manager in Timor-Leste, where, in collaboration with Rotary Club Australia, he was involved in projects supporting the development of medical clinics in underserved communities and improving access to healthcare for local populations.
Approximately 11 years ago, Andrei entered the field of addiction and rehabilitation, beginning a career within a leading rehabilitation hospital in Scotland. Over the following decade, he developed extensive experience working within the rehabilitation sector, gaining a strong understanding of addiction, mental health, treatment pathways, and the needs of individuals and families seeking support.
In March 2026, Andrei joined White River Manor Group as Admissions Manager. He brings together his clinical background, international experience, and extensive knowledge of the rehabilitation sector to provide structure and leadership within the admissions process.
